Gender Gap Narrows


Women are still making less money than men. But the gap narrowed in the tech sector during the first half of 2005. Men's salaries rose about 6%, while women posted an 8% gain. The gap narrowed to 9.67%, from 13.9% at the end of last year. And the tech sector gap is lower than the average national gap of 24%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
